• Cancellations/Rebooking are for studio credit only, no refunds.

• Bookings cancelled/rescheduled within 7 days of start date are subject to a 50% rebooking fee

• Bookings cancelled/rescheduled within 48 hours of start time are forfeit and the booking cost can not be used towards another date

Covid-19 Exceptions:

• If the local guidelines no longer permit the studio to operate as a business, your booking will be refunded or rescheduled based on your preference.

• If your team/shoot has to cancel because of Covid-19 but the studio is allowed to legally operate, no special treatment/exceptions will be applied. Unfortunately, this would be too risky and for the detriment of the business. The rebooking/cancellation rules as stated above apply the same in this case.

1. Treat the studio, props, plants, furniture and everything else with care.

2. Renters will not enter the studio until their booked time and will leave on time at their booked end time un-less arrangements have been made and confirmed with management ahead.

3. Furniture and props are allowed to be moved but MUST BE RETURNED to their original spot before leaving the studio, please take pictures ahead of time to ensure there is no discrepancies.

4. Furniture will be moved by 2 or more people and NEVER DRAGGED.

5. Renters assume cost of replacing/cleaning broken, stained and misplaced items in the studio.

6. We do not permit the studio to be used for any pornographic content (boudoir is permitted).

7. The rental of space is for this studio only. Do not disrupt our neighbours or use the building in any other way than the studio.

8. NO glitters, paint, confetti, feathers etc. - additional cleaning cost will be charged if used and left in the studio.

9. Enjoy the sound system, but don’t abuse it - keep noise to a fair level to respect the neighbours

10. All Garbage in the trash bin provided, cleaners will take out the garbage after your booking.

11. No consumption of alcohol or cigarette smoking/vaping permitted. Or use of any other drugs allowed on the premises.

12. Only clean and dry shoes may be worn in the studio. A cleaning fee may be applied if dirt or sludge is brought into the studio. A shoe mat and rack will be available for outdoor shoes to be placed in at the entrance.

13. Leashed pets are allowed. We trust if you are bringing an animal that you know your animal’s capacity and behaviour. If furniture, items or floors are damaged the renter will assume the costs of cleaning or replacing any damage done by their animal. We kindly ask to have pets on a leash at all times.

14.The studio has a record player. We ask you to please refrain from using this as improper use could lead to irreversable vinyl damage. If you’d like to play a record our studio manager Kamryn would be happy to assist with this.

I, the Releasor, hereby waiver, release and discharge the Releasee (who runs and operates UMA LOFT). And his or her heirs, legal representatives, administrators, and executors for all liability for or by reason of any damage, loss or injury (including death) to myself, my group or my property which has been or may be sustained as a result of any participation in the activity, notwithstanding that such damage, loss or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the releasee negligence.

1. I have read this release thoroughly and I fully understand it

2. I am voluntarily executing this release, and would not otherwise be permitted to enter or rent UMA LOFT.

3. The release restricts me from suing or otherwise claiming against the Releasee, presently or at any future time, for damage, loss, or injury that may occur to myself or my property as a result of participating in this activity or at UMA LOFT.

4. I have been granted the opportunity to seek independent legal advice before executing this release.

UMA LOFT can cancel your booking for any reason.

UMA LOFT will cancel any booking that is in violation of the rental terms and agreement.
